IT&CM China Buyers Enticed by Hong Kong Rewards!

Hong Kong took centre stage at IT&CM China held in Shanghai from 21-23 March when Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong fielded a strong alliance of 22 local trade partners to host over 800 buyer appointments at the Hong Kong Pavilion.  This successful outcome marked the 11th consecutive year that MEHK has participated at the largest MICE trade show in China.

During the three-day event, the MEHK team stimulated buyer interest with briefings on Hong Kong’s dazzling new MICE venues such as Hong Kong Science Park, sky100 Observation Deck, Hong Kong Jockey Club facilities, Hong Kong Maritime Museum, Central Harbourfront, Zero Carbon Building, and the PMQ complex.

This year’s upgrade of the Hong Kong Rewards! programme with new experience-packed offers garnered considerable interest from Mainland China buyers, especially free dining offers at Hong Kong Disneyland and the special horse-racing and dining privileges tailor-made for Mainland MICE delegates at the Jockey Club’s Sha Tin racecourse.

As Mainland buyer commented, “Hong Kong’s newest MICE venues and experiences provide a fresh take on the city for any MICE planners, which together with a world of Hong Kong Rewards! privileges, is set to take any corporate event there to new heights.”
