Tours for the upwardly mobile
Every MICE visitor agrees that The Peak Tram is one authentic side to the city that can't be missed. The 1.4 km scenic trip to the one of the highest points on Hong Kong Island passes through a kaleidoscope of history, moving through the city's leafy interior, on a steep gradient anywhere up to 27 degrees, before arriving at an entertainment district with a view that complements any celebration.
In 1888, the tram was state of the art. Today it is one of the world's oldest funicular railways. Pulled by steel cables, the tram rises from 18 metres to 396 metres above sea level. It is an experience any MICE group will appreciate and as close to time travel as you can get. Planners can arrange an exclusive party for between 60 and 120 guests in a private Peak Tram, one way or return. Group fares are available for advance bookings of more than 15 guests.
