HKTB MICE Ambassadors

The Hong Kong Convention Ambassador (HKCA) Programme was launched by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) in 2020 with the aim of bringing together distinguished local and Mainland leaders of business and professional bodies to make Hong Kong the premier choice for staging world-class business events.    

The HKTB hosted the Hong Kong Convention Ambassador (HKCA) Appreciation Night on 20 May to honour the ambassadors and their outstanding achievements.

Relive the dazzling evening of celebrations, networking, music and gourmet

The event included a panel discussion under the theme “Driving success together, as one” featuring HKTB Chairman Pang Yiu-Kai and three industry leaders who brought in some significant world congresses to Hong Kong, to share success stories and tips. Kenneth Wong, General Manager of the MICE & Cruise division, and his team also shared "end-to-end support" of MEHK. The event wrapped with a delightful harp ensemble by the Hong Kong Harp Association, the organser of past World Harp Congress.

Dr Pang Yiu-Kai, Chairman of HKTB said, "We are truly grateful to have over 140 top leaders from the local business community and the Mainland as advocates for Hong Kong’s conventions sector within these 3 remarkable years. The HKCAs brings the conventions from various industries which set a strong testament to Hong Kong as a premier MICE destination and underline the city’s position as a leading international business hub."
