Kai Tak Cruise Terminal
Once the site of Hong Kong's famed harbourside airport, Kai Tak Cruise Terminal is home to some impressive MICE venues.
Capable of handling the world’s largest cruise ships, with up to 220,000 in gross tonnage, the terminal was designed by Sir Norman Foster (Foster+Partners) and encompasses 5 event venues with a minimum size of 26,000 sq ft each. Its remarkably lengthy apron (850m by 35m) offers a pleasant setting for outdoor events and exhibits, while the terminal’s rooftop garden capitalises on the city’s breathtaking skyline to make a superb location for cocktail parties or pre-event gatherings.
The terminal’s impressive infrastructure allows visitors to zip quickly between ship and shore, with a short ride to some of Hong Kong’s popular attractions and buzziest dining, shopping and hotel districts, such as West Kowloon Cultural District, Peak Tram Central Terminus, Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui.
