Kai Tak Sports Park (to be opened in 2024)

Built on the former Kai Tak Airport site spanning 28 hectares, Kai Tak Sports Park is Hong Kong’s largest and newest sports venue, and one of the most anticipated projects in town.
The Sports Park’s various world-class stadiums can accommodate tens of thousands of spectators with customisable seating and stage set up to host international competitions and large-scale sports events. In particular, the Main Stadium holds 50,000 spectators and has a sound-proof retractable roof and flexible pitch surface. Other large-scale spaces include the Indoor Sports Centre with 10,000 seats and a public sports ground with 5,000 seats. The Sports Park also has large open spaces for public enjoyment as well as retail and dining outlets, together with its well-connected accessibility, making it an ideal venue for large-scale events.
