The Tei Tong Tsai Country Trail starts from Tung Chung, but if you prefer a more relaxed hike , take the bus from Tung Chung and hop off at Pak Kung Au for the mostly shaded trail. This will lead you past the monks path coming up from Shek Mun Kap where you’ll find small Buddhist monasteries, temples, and pavilions, some of which are inhabited by monks. Continue along the trail and head towards Ngong Ping, where you will catch a glimpse of the Big Buddha’s head emerging through the trees. Embark on a journey of cultural exploration with your team, and be rewarded by the peacefulness and serenity of Lantau Island.
