Relive a Hong Kong story from a bottle of gin
On a mission to create the first gin brand in Hong Kong, Perfume Trees Gin, located in the Mills, infuses the spirit with aromatic and evocative botanicals sourced locally, such as white magnolia, a scent that lingers around the trees of Hong Kong, 15-year sun-dried mandarin orange peels, over century-old epiphyllum and Longjing tea, to tell the “story of Hong Kong in a bottle”. Its creations have garnered recognition from 2020 World Gin Awards and Gin Masters Asia in 2019, just to name a few.
For those who are interested in learning more about gin, suggest you sign up for an intimate tasting workshop, of which you and your team will be introduced to the origins of gin making, different types of the spirit and blind tasting to test your taste buds and sense of smell. You’ll also learn how to make the best G&T. Participants will come away with a sense of the city’s hallmark East-meets-West culture.
The venue is the Mills, a former textile factory from the 1950s that has been revitalised into a creative hub of boutiques and trendy restaurants. A tour of this complex is a good way to inspire the team after the workshop.
