2024 Yum China RGM Convention
For the first time, Mainland’s Fortune 500 restaurant giant Yum China has selected Hong Kong to hold its annual 2024 Yum China RGM Convention. Yum China is the largest restaurant company in Mainland China, operating more than 15,000 restaurants under various brands in about 2,200 cities and towns. More than 11,000 of the group’s managers from all over the Mainland gathered for a day-long meeting, followed by leisure activities to experience Hong Kong’s iconic attractions, theme parks and local delicacies. The staging of this large-scale event reinforced Hong Kong’s status as a premier destination for meetings and incentives travel.
A fruitful day of meeting was held on 16 December at AsiaWorld-Expo, packing in CEO updates and strategy sharing, award presentations and performances by Hong Kong artiste Ms. Gigi Leung and Yum’s team members.
With business done, attendees seized the opportunity to explore Hong Kong in different ways. Favourite highlights included taking in breathtaking day and night vistas from the Peak and Avenue of Stars, magical fun at Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park, night bus tour and marvelous ride on Ngong Ping 360, and city walks through streets made famous in Hong Kong TV dramas and movies, with plenty of photo opportunities and sampling of local delicacies. It was a total immersion in the metropolis’s East-meets-West culture with a mix of contemporary and traditional flavours.
