ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2024

Asia’s leading international trade show for the region’s fresh produce business made a triumphant return to Hong Kong with a sizable turnout and a harvest for all participants.

Staged on 4-6 September 2024 at AsiaWorld-Expo, the 17th edition of ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA (AFL) attracted 13,000 visitors from over 70 different countries and regions. More than 97% of the show’s visitors rated this year’s edition as "good" or "very good".

Exhibition space was sold out, snapped up by 760 exhibitors from 42 countries and regions, compared to 700 exhibitors in the year before. Some 28 national or regional pavilions were set up to showcase a wide range of innovations. Mainland China was again the single-largest exhibiting nation with 12% more exhibitors this year showcasing diverse produce from across the Mainland. The 280-plus exhibitors from across the boundary included regional groups from Hebei, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Sichuan and other regions. There were also first-time pavilions from India, Indonesia, Tanzania and Kyrgyzstan.

Reflecting Hong Kong’s strengths in helping events achieve more, AFL not only provided a platform for global producers to showcase their glorious products and services and grow their business, but also created an extensive knowledge centre for sharing expert insights, leveraging the convenience of accessing speakers, sponsors and partners in the massive Mainland market and the region from Hong Kong.

Additionally, more than 60 top speakers from 20 countries were enlisted to share their expert insights at ASIAFRUIT KNOWLEDGE CENTRE, the show’s new all-in-one content hub that featured Asiafruit Congress, Asiafruit Business Forum and Asiafruit Showcase.

Through the show’s Speed Dating and Match Making services, retail buyers reaped opportunities to connect face-to-face with leading companies supplying the products and services they sought.

AFL organiser David Axiotis looks forward to staging next year’s edition again in Hong Kong on 3-5 September 2025.

This year’s show floor is bigger than ever before, and we have welcomed over 13,000 trade visitors and over 760 exhibitors from 42 countries and regions. Our exhibitors and visitors have had a great time in Hong Kong, an exhibition hub renowned for its business efficiency, global connectivity and vibrant culture. The show is once again pushing the bar higher for a busier, bigger and better ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA. The energy, innovation, and business growth opportunities here were unmatched. It's truly rewarding to witness the fresh produce industry come together in such a dynamic way, driving forward the future of trade in Asia.
