The 23rd International Conference of Racing Analysts and Veterinarians (ICRAV)

The 23rd International Conference of Racing Analysts and Veterinarians (ICRAV) took place from 17-23 September 2023 in Hong Kong at Kerry Hotel.

The week-long event, themed “Sustaining the Integrity of Racing”, brought together experts to examine the challenges facing regulatory professionals in detecting new threats to integrity, such as advanced doping methods, and to discuss strengthening protection and control.

Capitalising on Hong Kong’s world-class facilities, state-of-the-art transportation infrastructure and reputation as a global hub for horseracing and veterinary, delegates and key industry figures were thrilled to have ICRAV in Hong Kong again since it was last held here in 1985 to catch up with the latest industry development and exchange with international peers.

The success in hosting international conventions on horse-racing and veterinarian disciplines not only reinforces Hong Kong’s important role as The World’s Meeting Place but also its strategic role in promoting the sports industry in the Greater Bay Area.

It was a momentous occasion for Hong Kong, being host to ICRAV for the second time. The delegates were eager to come to Hong Kong again as the city is very convenient in term of accessibility while having state-of-the-art meeting facilities and world-class horse-racing development.
